To all members of our Town;

At the annual Town Meeting the Town voted, at the request of Selectman Chair Charles Loring III, to have an outside company create a new and more updated website. I was never aware that the Selectmen wanted something other than I was providing. I never received any complaints or was ever directed to change the site. I attended a Selectmen's meeting one night on another matter and Michael Skorput (Administrative Assistant) informed the Board that there had been many complaints. None were forwarded to me.

I started this site on my own at my own expense and without pay for many years with the blessing of the Board. At that time it was decided that this site would be an information resource and it would not promote any private enterprises. Since then I have tried to put meeting minutes and important information the Townspeople may need. I have received very little or no cooperation in getting the information and minutes that were needed (the Board of Selectmen's Administrative Assistant being the worst offender). All meeting minutes are by MGL to be filed with the Town Clerk. I have repeatedly asked the Town Clerk to forward these minutes to me but my requests have been ignored. This was very frustrating since this site was built to get the information out to the Townspeople and I wasn't able to accomplish the task.
